awesomeness!!!

just watched it ^_^ Montag a little too rehearsed but everything else just fine. Gunn’s “where’s the…” made my day. Laura doesn’t even look like she’s acting and that’s how it should be. Kudos!!

completely nice work with the episode 4. It is more about tv-shows than about politics or diplomacy. It make clear how the politics can control the media and how they are depending on it in the same time. I’d better say ‘the politics never change’…. Since the times of Classic Greece. I have much more to say but later. I feel the sense of Heinlein inside the 4th episode more then ever earlier. May be that’s why I think of Yuri as of Mikle Smith. Where ever the story goes on i like the feels that the auctors show between Yuri and Jane. The home is there where is your heart…wish Yuri can finally could bring her back home with him

Great!! Im dl now!! Whats the deal, how long is this show gonna last if everything works out?? Is there plans to do multiple seasons??
John Nolan via Facebook
As Lobo De La Meza said Jane is the best auctor in the show. That’s why I can not call her with the real auctors name. I feel her like her character. She is real.

Downloaded and in share ! Thank you a lot for your work !
I will discover that tonight.

I could see syndication for Pioneer One!!! Maybe an extension and offer by a TV network to produce more?? IDk who owns the rights, but its def a great show, and could easily be on a TV network if they wanted it to be with the right Network involved!!! I could see this show on Sci Fi right now, or even the science channel now that they got Sci Fi on too. Did anyone try to pitch it? Or is that not something they wanna do?
John Nolan via Facebook
There one more trouble that I see again, previously met in ep2. the screens and texts of tv show make it hard to read the subtitles. As to me I can understand the word I listen. And what about people who REALLY NEED translated subtitles? Greek attitude, guys
Other nations must learn greek language to be… involved
That wat the greek intrnational agenda

Downloading and seed

A nice series but what’s with the bit-torrent bullshit. Seriously. I’m not going to spend hours — or days – downloading one episode from somebody’s slow-ass internet connection. Fortunately, I’ve found the first 3 episodes elsewhere.
Want donations to Vodo? OK. Put stuff on a real server where I can download it without all the silly pointless bullshit. That’s something I would be willing to pay for.

I dunno I got about 2.5 mbps from over 60,000 seeders…had it downloaded in about 3 minutes. Not to mention it’s embedded right on this page.

It’s nice to see a Russian character who looks the part (not the ambassador, for sure).
Alexey Badalov via Facebook
If you don want to wait see the episode in stream buddy, seriously.
I like that i can download it on torrent, is the best and cheaper way to download files bigger than 1GB, for those how have high speed connection it doesnt restrict the speed limit. And for those how have a no very fast one they can pause and resume the download in every they want.

Grate job with the series, cant wait for the next two episodes.
It was cool that you left the trekkie homage in episode 3, made me smile.
I like that you decided to call the cosmonaut Yuri in episode 2 (I guess it was a tribute to Yuri Gagarin? if so, nice one
Also i would like to send a thumbs up to the one that made the intro, I really like it. Did you get hold of Vostok drawings somewhere or did you make them your self?

Kalle
@ Kalle: Thank you!
The artwork for the intro was done by our art director, Neil Dvorak, with animation by Bracey Smith. Neil drew all the schematics by hand. One of our upcoming video blogs is actually going to focus on Neil’s designs.
keep watching!

Love the show. It gets better and better for every episode.
The acting, the camera work, the production, music all is extremely well done.
It already surpasses alot, if not most, of the “made for Syfy” stuff that I assume has a bigger budget.
Are you considering a novel after season one? I feel there is alot more of story that could be told about the tension between the countries involved and the growing relationship between Yuri and Jane for ex. I think a novel following the dvd/blu-ray would do decent numbers.
Thanks for all of your hard work and best regards

Great series – hope it continues.
I am a HUGE fan of Alexandra Blatt – she’s beautiful and a very natural actor.

@ Keso: Thank you! Yes, you’re right on the money…there’s lots of story left to be told. A novel is an interesting idea. We’ve been kicking around ways to elaborate or continue the story in other media, since there are certain stories that are ancillary to the main plot of the show but are pretty interesting in their own right. Right now though we’re 110% focused on finishing these episodes!
@ sandmanninja@hotmail.com: Indeed she is!
Josh
Wonderful series! Russians are involved, as always, but it really nice that this story doesn’t have any political implication. At least I didn’t feel it. And I really like the casting work, you’ve done. Thank you team for using russian speaking guy for an astronaut role. I hate when russians in the american movies talking with that creepy accent, squeezing out of themselves words like “tovarish”, “privet”, etc. Every character in these episodes looks very naturally. Wish you luck and a lot of donations! Спасибо!
Vladimir
Will this sluggishly made serie ever be finished
With this rate of new episodes being released it will be that future by the time it ends…
When will episode 5 come out (if all..) ???
sander
Did anyone else want to grab that guy at 16:40, and repeatedly punch him in the face while screaming “”NUCLEAR!!! NUCLEAR!!!!! NOT NUCULAR!!!!!!”

We just wrapped on episodes 5 and 6, and it’s looking like August for episode 5. The long wait between releases is unfortunate but unavoidable, given that we’re making these shows solely from viewer donations and peoples’ generosity. So we have to work around their schedules since no one is getting paid.

Yeah, they don’t call Cormac Rowe a poor-man’s Charlie Rose for nothing…

@ Josh: love the art, but the store is a bit disappointing. Shirt’s designs are uninspired and the posters looks like someone importing a folder full of drawings, trying to arrange them on paper. If you get some spare time, I encourage you to throw some love to the merchandising.
